Nintendo’s line of highly-anticipated Amiibo figures are hitting shelves soon. And Nintendo is currently giving select internet personalities a couple of select figures to show off.
Similar to Skylanders and Disney Infinity, these figures, which are modeled after characters from Nintendo’s various franchises, use near field communication (NFC) to interact with supported video game software, allowing data to be transferred in and out of each game and across multiple platforms. What each figure does depends on both the game and the figure itself.
This wee, The JWittz posted a video that shows some of the many Amiibo features in action. He primarily went over the features involving Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, even showing off the quickest way to level up the Amiibo characters in Super Smash Bros in less than two hours with a simply trick.
Amiibo will also be compatible with many other Nintendo Wii U titles including:

Mario Party 10
Yoshi Woolly World
Kirby & The Rainbow Curse
Hyrule Warriors
