Board James plays Crossfire (1971)

1760

In James Rolfe’s long-running series Board James, the internet star plays the 1971 2-player action board game– Crossfire in the third episode. In the video, Board James recalls his first impressions of the notoriously outrageous commercials that were released to promote Crossfire.

This game is played on a large board approximately 100 x 80 cm. The players each have a rotating plastic gun attached to their end of the board, behind a wire goal frame. The idea is to fire ball bearings from the gun to knock your puck into your opponents goal and keep theirs away from yours. The board is slightly curved to cause the balls to roll into pots at each end for re-use.
