It’s hard to believe that the Garbage Pail Kids are 30 years old. The upcoming documentary on the franchise, featuring artist interviews and superfan collections, will release this summer. And this week, we got a brand new trailer.

Garbage Pail Kids is a series of trading cards produced by the Topps Company, originally released in 1985 and designed to parody the Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, which were immensely popular at the time. The franchise also released a critically-panned live-action film in 1987, which recently received a fun collector’s edition release

The film will feature: John Pound, Art Spiegelman, Len Brown, Mark Newgarden, Tom Bunk, James Warhola, Jay Lynch, Roxanne Toser, Gary Gerani, Adam F. Goldberg, Mackenzie Astin,, Debbie Lee Carrington, Kevin Thompson, Arturo Gil, Layron DeJarnette, Jeff Zapata, Aaron J. Booton, Mark Pingitore, Joe Simko, Brent Engstrom, David Gross, and James Houx.
